What’s the Theme?

America’s Hometown Stories

We’re calling on high school juniors and seniors across the U.S. to create a 2–3 minute video that captures a meaningful person, place, story, or tradition from your hometown.

Your video should reflect the American spirit and what makes your community unique. Think local. Think personal. Think powerful.

Your video could feature:

  • A local hero or unsung community member
  • A landmark or historic site
  • A family tradition that reflects American values
  • A small business making a difference
  • A story from the past that still shapes your community today

Your voice matters—and your hometown has a story worth telling. Take this opportunity to explore your roots, celebrate your community, and show the country what makes your story special.
