2. Voluntary Participation

I voluntarily agree to participate in the HelloNation Student Video Contest and to create and submit video, audio, written, and/or photographic content in connection with this contest. I understand participation is voluntary and that my submission may be reviewed, published, shared, edited, or distributed as described below.

3. Grant of Rights and Media Release

I hereby grant to CGI Communications, Inc., HelloNation, and their affiliates, partners, licensees, successors, and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) the irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right and permission to:

• Use, reproduce, edit, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, display, broadcast, and create derivative works from my submitted content, including video, audio, photographs, likeness, voice, name, statements, and written materials;
• Publish and distribute the content on HelloNation.com, the HelloNation Video Contest website, social media channels, digital platforms, and promotional materials;
• Include the content in local magazines, print publications, marketing campaigns, advertisements, educational materials, and other media now known or later developed;
• Edit the content for clarity, formatting, length, or promotional use without further approval;
• Use the content for promotional, informational, editorial, commercial, or publicity purposes.

This permission is granted without limitation as to time, geographic area, or number of uses.

4. Compensation

I understand and agree that I will not receive compensation, payment, royalties, or other consideration now or in the future for the use of my submitted content or likeness, except for any contest prizes or recognition that may be awarded according to official contest rules.

5. Ownership and Originality

To the best of my knowledge, the submitted content is original or properly authorized, and does not infringe upon the rights of any third party. I understand that CGI Communications, Inc. and HelloNation may rely on this representation when using the content.

Music and Audio Copyright Compliance

I represent and warrant that any music, sound recordings, or audio elements included in my submission are:

• Original to me; or
• Used with full legal permission or license; or
• Obtained from a royalty-free or properly licensed source that permits the intended uses described in this agreement.

I understand that the submission must not include copyrighted music or audio that is used without permission. If licensed or royalty-free music is used, I agree to maintain proof of license or permission and provide documentation upon request.

I further agree that I am responsible for securing any necessary synchronization licenses, performance rights, or other permissions required for the use and distribution of the music in all media formats, including online, print, promotional, and broadcast uses worldwide.

I release CGI Communications, Inc. and HelloNation from any claims arising from unauthorized music or audio included in my submission.

6. Release and Waiver

I release and discharge the Released Parties from any and all claims, demands, damages, or liabilities arising out of or related to:

• My participation in the HelloNation Student Video Contest; and
• The use, publication, or distribution of my submitted content as permitted by this agreement.

This release includes, without limitation, claims relating to privacy, publicity rights, defamation, or emotional distress, except where prohibited by law.

9. Acknowledgment and Signature

I certify that I am at least 18 years of age, that I have read and understand this document, and that I voluntarily agree to its terms.
